Pep Rally - Vanity License Plate

Now that we've teased and tempted you all week long, it's almost time for you to shop for your favorite Brand Spankin' New products from MFT.
But first... it's time for our Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release Pep Rally!

Our Design Team has been busy creating jaw-dropping and inspiring projects for you, and we've saved the best for last.
We've taken an in-depth look at this month's Die-namics, while re-visiting the amazing sets being released tonight at 10 PM EST RIGHT HERE in the MFT Boutique.
And while we are at it, how about we make your life even easier with a "cheat sheet" of all that's new?  Head over to the MFT Blog to print out a shopping list.

Today I've used the Vanity License Plate stamp set and matching Die-namics. This set makes it easy to create super customised cards! Behind the license plate I've used the Dizzy Border - this has been on my wishlist forever, if it's on yours - grab it! You'll love the intricate detail.

Pretty Posies is still one of my fave Die-namics, I just love this flower!

Inside I used another license plate to add an extra sentiment.

Blessed Mouse

Our newest character at My Favorite Things is back again this month - this time, Mouse in the House is a Blessed Mouse! Generally I choose my papers for each card first, then colour to match. Sometimes I feel like just colouring though, and match papers from my scrap box after colouring, as I have here.

I started this card with a 3.5 x 5.5 card base (I use this size a lot - it's the leftover strip when cutting a 5x5" card). The largest Traditional Tags STAX was very close in size, so I ended up trimming my card base to make a large tag shaped card.

I used mostly pastel colours, adding pop with the bright blue and black. Mouse is stamped on a layer cut with the new Designer Labels 2 STAX. The ribbon is Blue Raspberry.

I kept the inside super simple with a watermark image and a sentiment.

I am...

It's time to show you the amazing stamp set and Die-namic combos for this My Favorite Things release - this is always one of my fave teaser days!

When I opened the Masculine Graphic Tee set I literally squealed as the sentiment I used today jumped out at me. Throughout my pregnancy (which I'm hoping is over by the time this posts! Edited to add: Nope. Still very pregnant!) when hubby talked to my bump, he'd say "I am your Father!" so I just knew I HAD to make him a card with this set!

I created a large 5x5 card and layered on the new Tradtional Tags STAX and Square STAX. For my tee, I cut it twice and glued on the sleeves etc. Everything was bordered in black and I added some simple embellishment with Kraft ribbon and some jumbo eyelets.

I know Shanan will be an AMAZING Dad, so I used a couple of sentiments from the set to tell him so! I plan to squirrel this card away in my maternity bag and give it to him after our bub is born.

Pretty Amazing!

Happy June! I'm back with a teaser for this month's My Favorite Things release. Today I'm using Complimentary Greetings, this months Triple Scoop set - yours free when you spend $60, woohoo!

I love the font on this set, it's so modern, but looks awesome when done up in a vintage style too, which is what I've done.

Don't you LOVE big sentiments like these? They make such an impact! I've stamped my sentiment on the gorgeous new Designer Labels 2 STAX. I created my card around the vintage shape of this layer. I cut my Mini Royal Roses from paper and added a couple of Fishtail Flag STAX banners behind the focal layer. I finished off my embellishment with a Vintage Flourish element.

I kept the inside of my card pretty simple, using a co-ordinating sentiment from the set.

You Spin Me!

It's day two of My Favorite Things teasers, and this month Fred Bear is back with his pinwheel! I've used Fred and a couple of fun new Die-namics on my card for today.

The new Hexagon Die-namics is so fun for making varied backgrounds! I've used the main die, and also the triangular off cuts on this card, using the off cuts to create borders for my layers. My clouds are cut with Puff Cloud White MFT felt. The lush ribbon is also from MFT.

Inside my card I've used more off cuts as well as the fantastic new Star STAX Die-namics.
